Our legal secretaries and receptionists are the vanguard for our firm. Candidates should possess excellent time management skills and have the ability to multi-task. Legal secretaries are responsible for greeting and screening clients, receiving and relaying telephone messages, providing administrative support, and preparing legal documents and correspondence.Part-Time Filing Clerk
As a filing clerk at The Higgins Firm, qualified candidates will create and update physical and electronic files. Interested individuals should also have a basic understanding of legal record keeping procedures, as well as both physical and electronic filing. The candidate should also be detail oriented, strive for accuracy, and have the ability to follow directions.Interns
Interns will work closely with our all of our attorneys and will be responsible for both legal and administrative tasks. Interns assist in case preparation by helping with client intake, locating and interviewing witnesses, maintaining case files, preparing discovery, and research. Interns at the Higgins Firm also assist in preparing documents, case folders, and trial binders, as well as taking phone calls.
