The Toyota recall includes several different vehicles for many different types of airbag defects. Toyota had already recalled 2.14 million vehicles in April of 2013 for this problem however, Takata failed to provide an accurate list of all the vehicles with this problem. Finally, in October of 2014, the Toyota Motor Corporation included 20,000 more vehicles to the defective Takata airbags and sent additional notices to 247,000 owners of vehicles that were included in the recall strongly advising that they bring their vehicles in for repairs as soon as possible.

• Pontiac Vibe (2003-2005) – made for General Motors (GM) by Toyota
• Toyota Sequoia (2002-2005)
• Toyota Tundra (2003-2005)
• Lexus SC (2002-2005)
